Create your yard
Sign up on your phone, pick your trade, name the yard, and open Overview.
You get a live trade page and a desk for the first jobs. No card, and it stays free.
Prerequisites
- A working email address. You may need to confirm it before you can sign in.
- About five minutes on a phone or laptop.
What is a yard?
Your yard is your HomeYard workspace. It's the public page your customers see, plus your staff desk at app.homeyard.app. The name you pick becomes your web address, so HomeYard checks it's free as you type.
Steps
Start free
Open HomeYard and choose Get started free. You can do this on your phone.
Pick your trade
Choose the trade that matches how you talk about the work. This sets the first board and the language on your page.
Name the yard
Type the business name. HomeYard checks the web address as you type.
Claim it
Enter your email, or use the one-tap option if it is offered. Then wait while HomeYard builds the site, desk and workflow.
Open Overview
When it's done, you land on Overview. A banner confirms your page is live and you're ready to take on work.
