What your customer sees
How they accept a quote, view a job, and pay an invoice on your site.
Customers never use the staff app. They open links on your yard’s own site, {your-name}.homeyard.app, under Account.
Prerequisites
- You have sent a quote or invoice, so they have a link.
- They can open email on their phone.
The three screens
They accept a quote, follow a booked job, and pay an invoice from the same login on your site.
Steps
They open the email
Quote and invoice emails include a button. It goes to your site, not to app.homeyard.app.
They accept the quote
The quote page lists the work and the total. Accepting it creates the job on your desk.
They view the job or invoice
After accept, they can see the job. When you invoice, they get a pay or view link.
Note
If they forward the email to a spouse or book-keeper, that person uses the same link. Keep the contact email accurate.
